Justin Timberlake was arrested for a DWI

Justin Timberlake will be hitting the stage again soon.

There had been much chatter about when the SexyBack singer would hit the road again following his DWI arrest on Tuesday June 18. The star was arrested in Sag Harbor after his car was allegedly seen swerving on the road.

When stopped by police, the singer, who is married to actress Jessica Biel, reportedly insisted that he’d “only had one martini”. Page Six reported that the arresting officer was so young that he didn’t even recognise the Mirrors performer.

“He didn’t recognize him or his name,” an insider alleged to the outlet. Another source went on to claim: ” Justin said under his breath, “This is going to ruin the tour.” The cop simply responded next with the two words:”What tour?” to which Justin replied, “The world tour.'”

And Justin’s tour, which is set to see him perform shows in Chicago this weekend, are slated to go ahead. He is performing shows at Chicago’s United Center, and perhaps off the back of the attention Justin’s arrest has brought in recent days – unwanted or otherwise – show organizer LiveNation announced they would be releasing more tickets.

Posting on their Facebook page on Friday morning, they penned: “TICKETS RELEASED! “Great seats just released for Justin Timberlake tonight & tomorrow at United Center!”
