In response, Jammu and Kashmir got off to a solid start, at 24/0. After the failures of India stars Rohit (28), Yashasvi Jaiswal (26) and Shreyas Iyer (17) with the bat, which left Mumbai at 101/7, Shardul began the rescue act alongside Tanush Kotian.
