Former US President Donald Trump’s campaign has threatened legal action against the controversial film ‘The Apprentice.’ The movie premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and stars Sebastian Stan as Trump. The film depicts unflattering and allegedly fictional scenes from Trump’s early career. Trump’s spokesperson, Steven Cheung, denounced the film as “pure fiction” and election interference. “We will be filing a lawsuit to address the blatantly false assertions from these pretend filmmakers. This garbage is pure fiction which sensationalizes lies that have been long debunked,” said Steven Cheung, the Trump Campaign’s Chief Spokesperson. Additionally, billionaire investor Dan Snyder, initially supportive of the project, has also objected to its portrayal of Trump. Snyder, who is now seeking legal action against the film, was under the impression that it was a flattering portrayal of the 45th US President.
